share the steps of how to create an activity for that and to schedule that using an agent on weekly basis, it will be a great help if can share the steps

We can fetch report and call in activity and retrieve using attachment and use send email,
I can understand from theory level- but configuration in activity or DT using function and expression clicking gear and doing configuration feel most difficult.
May be the questions are basics but trying to learn more development stuff.
Even is pdn is not helpful much in resolving the queries.
I appreciate OSP team for great initiative of Forum it will be really helpful to grow the skills in development for people like me

    To start off with, we have an OOTB capability to schedule a report and to receive emails on scheduled time with actual data as an attachment. Below are the steps to follow,
    1) Create the required report definition and make sure it is tagged to a category rule to be shown in the report browser.

    2) Now launch the manager portal and switch to the Report browser and select our report to schedule it.

    3) We can use the OOTB configurations to schedule our report on a need basis. We even can select the output format of the data in the email [pdf or excel].

    Yeah, we are done. The system takes care of executing the report and sending the email accordingly.

    Let us know if your requirement does not fit into the OOTB capability of reports schedule. We will be happy to help you with writing a custom activity to achieve the same.

        Thanks for the reply- The OOTB configurations, I tried it. Basically I am looking for an activity to schedule a report via Agent.
        In most of the Agent articles or posts mentioned example of sending/scheduling reports via agent(theoretically ). But haven't come across any example of sending report using Agent, even PDN didn't helped or I may not searched properly .

        I am looking for sending a report created in a report definition through mail on a weekly basis using Agents only.
