    Thank you, for the information.
Report Browser basically works based on two rules [Category, Shortcut],

You can create a shortcut in two ways,
    1) Manually create shortcut rule and link it to a Category and refer Report definition in it.
    2) Select Display this in browser option in the report definition rule & select category. The system creates a Shortcut rule for us.

Now to remove a report from the report browser we can take one action from below,
    1) Withdraw the shortcut rule if the code is already deployed to higher environments.
    2) Delete the shortcut rule if you are currently developing this.

The report browser loads with a requestor level data page. So please log-off and logon once you are done with the shortcut changes.

What you see on the portal is basically a Navigation rule in Pega. Navigation rules in Pega are used to achieve menus and sub-menus.

Use Live-UI and open the exact navigation rule used in your scenario and do the below changes.

1) Save-as the Navigation rule in your application ruleset.
2) Add a visibility condition using a when rule to decide when end-users have to see this menu item in the portal.

You can perform the below options,

Conditionally display a menu item using a when rule
Conditionally display a menu item using a privilege
Conditionally enable a menu item using a when rule
Conditionally enable a menu item using a privilege

Enabling or disabling Display in report browser option in report definition only determines whether that report will be shown or hidden in Report Browser. It will not hide the Report menu in Portal.

Let us know if this answers your question or you need any further information.

ospteam - My query is regarding only that option. I am not looking for the navigation rule.

here I am trying to hide the Report which is not working. After disabling that option too

Please avoid navigation rule.

Thanks for the reply

just to understand your question better, you disable report to be displayed in Report browser, but then you see that report under that Category or when you select All reports option?

I see that report under that Category

ospteam Thanks for the reply, Agreed with creation points that's how we did.

But coming to removal, we are aware of that option.
I was in thinking once we disable the option in RD, things will change automatically.
          Thanks, much for detailed inputs.::::

Yeah, Pega should have handled it that way. But unfortunately, they haven't. Let's see if this is something that will be worked in future releases.

Is there anything else that we can help with or else can we move this discussion to the solved basket?
